Tragic Day, Brittany Murphy Dead

I can't believe. Brittany Murphy, one of my favorite actresses has died at the age of 32. So far, they are calling it "cardiac arrest," but I have to really wonder here. Why in the world would a 32 year old have cardiac arrest? First thing that comes into my mind is too much dope. I surely hope this is not the case here, as I would hate for her reputation to be damaged by it.

Mildly put, this sucks.

2009 Time Person of the Year What??

Who is this masked man? Time magazine went and named Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke as person of the year? Wasn't President Obama the person of the year last year? How does this guy compare? I just don't get it. Wonder how long it's going to take for Kanye West to say that Beyonce should have won it?!

Marisa Calihan First Eliminated from Survivor Samoa

It's the premiere night of Survivor Samoa! The only thing that seems clear is that Oil Rig Russell from Houston is a total jackass. Not only did he empty the canteens of water from his tribe mates, he also burned one members socks, and laughed the next day when people were cranky.

 The season started with a bit of a twist, as each tribe was predetermined and upon arrival, had to elect a leader who was responsible for many decisions that would affect the tribes. The purple team is named Galu, and the yellow team is Foa Foa.

 Foa Foa won the challenge for flint, then at the immunity challenge called Galu a bunch of losers. That bunch of losers kicked Foa Foa's ass at the challenge! Yeah, way to to Foa Foa. Maybe you'll keep your big mouths shut next time.

 Oil Rig Russell is a condescending jerk who says this is his game and that all the people on his tribe are stupid, just pieces of trash for him to toss out when he's done with him.

 After Oil Rig Russell decided he didn't like the way Marisa confront him about talking with the other tribe members, he decided she should be the target and got her voted out by a vote of 5-3. (The three votes were for Ashley.)

 Nice. We're in for an interesting season. Are we going to hate Oil Rig Russell more than Benjamin Wade??

DJ AM Overdoses??!!

Wow! It's been reported by TMZ, that Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM was found dead in his New York Apartment on August 28, 2009. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene, but we won't know for sure his cause of death until the autopsy (if there is one) is completed. If it is true. It sucks. Reality Star Ryan Jenkins Wanted for Murder!

Reality show star Ryan Jenkins is wanted for questioning in the investigation of the murder of model Jasmine Fiore! Jenkins was on the show "Megan Wants a Millionaire." (If you don't remember Megan, she's the chic who Sharon Osbourne threw tea on during the Rock of Love 2 Reunion show!)

 Come to find out Jenkins and Fiore may have been married after meeting at a Las Vegas Strip club. Her body was found left in a dumpster on August 15, 2009, in Buena Park, California.

Dr. Conrad Murray to be charged with manslaugher for the death of Michael Jackson

Dr. Conrad Murray will be charged with manslaughter for the death of pop star Michael Jackson. He is accused of giving Jackson a powerful dose of Propofol, a anesthesia/sedation drug the night before the singer's death. It is believed that the dose contributed to Jackson's death. Dr. Conrad Murray has released a statement via YouTube about the incident and him not being able to return phone calls and emails.

Survivor Richard Hatch Arrested Again

Richard Hatch was arrested again after The Today Show aired an interview on August 18, 2009, talking about his innocence from tax fraud. He felt he was a victim of the system because he was gay! Listen dude, if you don't pay your taxes, you go to jail. Personally, I believe he's using his sexual orientation as a crutch. The government doesn't care if you're gay when it comes to taxes. Matt Lauer believes that everyone went through the proper channels for the interview. Crazy stuff I say, crazy stuff.

Chima Benson Quit Big Brother 11!

I'm shocked! Chima Benson apparently quit Big Brother 11! Just 3 days after Jessie Godderz was evicted! She's been whining and moping around the house, refusing to wear her mic, ignoring requests to visit the diary room and being a general pain in the butt after her buddy Jessie left due to Jeff using the Coup d'état. On August 15, 2009, she tossed her microphone pack into the hot tub. The house was called together for a meeting where Chima was told by production that the cost of the mic would come out of her stipend, angering her to no end and she quit the show over it!

 What a sore loser! Wonder how this will change the double-live eviction this week?

I don't get it. Seems little miss Ali Kay isn't happy with the rich Mr. Alex von Furstenberg. Did she use him just to get her business, Keep Me, out in the public eye? (She didn't do a good job of it, I've never heard of it.)

 She's been busted flirting with Reggie Miller, a former NBA player. Seems they met at a party and Reggie has been "stalkerish" towards her, but she's eating it up. Come on woman, pick a man and stick with it.

Brooks and Dunn Broke Up Today!

I'm in shock. The greatest country music duo of all time announced their retirement today. I guess 20 years is a long time to be together, and there really wasn't any new ground for them to break.
