Balcony Rental on Bourbon Street?
For next year, after our Turkey Day with the in-laws, I think it'll be time for my first Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Gonna Dress up For Mardi Gras 2010!
I'm so excited about Mardi Gras this year! Decided we'll go to the parades this year, instead of the traditional "huntin for Gumbo" ones in the backwood swamps :-) Decided that we'll dress up this year for Mardi Gras. But as what? Not sure if there's time to compete a full costume, much less ones for the kids also. Maybe we'll create matching masks this year, and start working on costumes for 2011 Mardi Gras. Lafayette, Louisiana, here we come!

Will it be the cutie pie Scott Brown? (As a side note, this little stud-muffin posed nude in Cosmopolitan magazine in 1982. He won the title of "America's Sexiext Man award while attending law school, clinching his spot in the magazine). Or, will it be Joe Kennedy? Joe is running independent, and probably won't win. Also, he's of no relation to the famous Kennedy family, but I wonder how many people might see the name and vote just because of that? And finally, we have Martha Coakley. My Sims Agent, Kids Are Addicted!
So, we finally broke down and got the kids their own pc. One pc, two kids. So far, it's working. They seem to be after My Sims Agent, and UB Funkeys. The UB Funkeys are cute, but you have to collect over 100 of the the little bastards to get to complete the game! At about 8 bucks a shot for each character, they better get to work on the dishes! Simon's Leaving Idol, But Who Will Replace Him?
Simon Cowell is leaving American Idol after this season. But, the big question is, who will replace him? How bad will the ratings suffer? Mean ol' ogre that he is, I have to say I've grown to really like this guy, and just don't think any other person will be able to pull this off. It'll be the end of American Idol as we know it. Sea Shepherd Vs Ady Gil
Wow.. A battle at sea. While in Antarctica, the Sea Shepard boat, run by anti-whalers, was deliberately attacked by the Ady Gil. Of course, the Ady Gil is a whaling ship from Japan. Japanese officials have stated that the Sea Shepherd was trying to toss ropes in the propellers of the other whaling ships, and the Ady Gil was protecting the other boats in the area. Artie Lange Tries To Commit Suicide!
Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange has attempted suicide. Reports are saying that Lange was found by his mother after he stabbed himself nine times. In-Laws this Coming Thanksgiving! Nooooooo!
First, I have to say that I'm glad I don't have to deal with in-laws often. But for Thanksgiving 2010, my wonderful husband wants us to go be with his family for Thanksgiving.
